By accessing or using this website (www.CartagenaIslandBliss.com) or any services provided by CARTAGENA ISLAND BLISS S.A.S., you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation or entering into any service agreement with us.

1. Company Information & Nature of Services

CARTAGENA ISLAND BLISS S.A.S. is a Colombia-registered travel and experience management company specializing in curated services for travelers visiting Cartagena, Colombia.
We offer:

  • Boat and yacht rentals
  • Vacation homes and private villas
  • Hotel bookings
  • Beach clubs
  • Tours and day trips
  • Concierge services
  • Transportation and event coordination
  • Other tourism-related experiences

We act as your primary point of contact and service coordinator, working with vetted suppliers and partners (vessels, villas, hotels, tour operators, transportation providers, etc.) to deliver a seamless and high-quality experience.

CARTAGENA ISLAND BLISS S.A.S. is responsible for managing communication, coordination, itinerary organization, and customer service related to your booking.
However, specific services are operated by third-party providers who remain responsible for execution and compliance with Colombian regulations.

2. Bookings & Payments

All reservations are subject to availability and are only confirmed once:

  • The client receives written confirmation from our team, and
  • The required deposit or full payment is received by CARTAGENA ISLAND BLISS S.A.S.

2.1 Payment Percentages

A. Boats & Vacation Homes (Private Villas)

  • 50% deposit required at the time of booking.
  • 50% remaining balance must be paid 24 hours before the service date.

B. Tours, Day Trips, Hotels, Beach Clubs & Other Services

  • 100% of the total amount must be paid at the time of booking to guarantee availability.

A booking is only guaranteed once proof of payment has been received.

2.2 Payment Methods

Payments may be made through:

Through our official payment link, subject to the terms and conditions of the payment processor.

2.3 Rates

All rates correspond to the official prices established by CARTAGENA ISLAND BLISS S.A.S. for the year 2025 or the prevailing period at the time of booking.

2.4 Service Schedules (Check-In / Check-Out)

Schedules depend on each service provider (boats, villas, hotels, etc.) and must be respected according to the agreed itinerary.

  • For boats: the departure time assigned by the supplier must be followed.
  • Late arrival reduces the service duration.
  • In case of no-show, cancellation policies apply.

3. Cancellation, Rescheduling & No-Show Policy

3.1 Cancellations by the Client (Non-Refundable)

General Rule:
For boats, hotels, tours, beach clubs, day trips, and all other services, no refunds (partial or full) will be issued under any circumstances.
Cancellations or no-shows result in the total loss of the amount paid.

3.1.1 Exception — Vacation Homes (Private Villas)

A refund may be issued only if:

  • Cancellation is requested at least 90 days before the check-in date.

Refunds are subject to a 30% penalty on the total amount already paid.

3.2 Date Changes (Rescheduling)

Clients may request a date change if:

  • The request is submitted at least 72 hours before the original service date.
  • The new date is subject to availability of the vessel, villa, hotel, tour, or supplier.

No refunds apply—only rescheduling.

3.3 Weather & Force Majeure Cancellations

If a service is canceled due to:

  • Extreme weather (for maritime services, only DIMAR can determine this), or
  • Force majeure events certified by the supplier or CARTAGENA ISLAND BLISS S.A.S.

Then:

  • The service will be rescheduled at no additional cost,
  • No refunds will be issued.

4. Client Experience & On-Ground Support

To ensure reliable and high-quality service, CARTAGENA ISLAND BLISS S.A.S. works with:

  • Certified boat operators
  • Licensed tour providers
  • Professional drivers
  • Property managers and hospitality teams
  • Local hosts and experience coordinators

These partners operate under the guidelines of CARTAGENA ISLAND BLISS S.A.S., ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with Colombian tourism standards.

5. Liability & Service Assurance

CARTAGENA ISLAND BLISS S.A.S. is responsible for the coordination of itineraries and for ensuring that confirmed services are delivered according to the booking.

However:

  • We do not directly operate boats, aircraft, hotels, villas, or transportation units.
  • Each service is executed by its respective licensed provider, who holds operational responsibility under Colombian law.

In case of service issues, delays, or incidents, our team will assist in resolution and communication with suppliers.

6. Privacy & Data Protection

We respect your privacy.
All personal information collected through this website, booking forms, or communication channels is managed in accordance with:

  • Colombian data protection regulations (Habeas Data Law 1581 of 2012)
  • International privacy and security standards

7. Acceptance of These Terms
