CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING POLICY FOR BOAT RENTALS
I. Cancellation by the Renter (Voluntary)
1. Cancellation More Than 90 Calendar Days in Advance: If the renter decides to cancel with more than 90 calendar days’ notice prior to the scheduled booking date, a 75% refund of the total amount paid will be issued. The remaining 25% will be retained as a cancellation penalty. Rescheduling is not applicable.
2. Cancellation Between 90 and 30 Calendar Days in Advance: If the renter cancels between 90 and 30 calendar days prior to the scheduled date, no refund will be issued (0%). However, the renter may request a change of rental date (rescheduling), subject to availability and current rates.
3. Cancellation Less Than 30 Calendar Days in Advance or No-Show: If the renter cancels with less than 30 days’ notice or fails to use the service on the scheduled date (No-Show), the total amount paid will be forfeited, with no right to a refund or rescheduling.
II. Cancellation Due to Weather Conditions (Safety Clause)
Safety is paramount. Should port authorities or the Captain of the vessel determine that weather conditions (wind, waves, storms, etc.) are unsafe for navigation on the scheduled date, only one option will be offered:
Mandatory Rescheduling: A change of date for the booking will be offered at no additional cost. The client must select a new date within an agreed-upon period (e.g., the next 6 or 12 months), subject to availability. Under this clause, monetary refunds will not be offered.
III. Final Provision
Any request for rescheduling must be made within the allowed timeframe and is subject to the vessel’s availability. Voluntary cancellations are strictly governed by the deadlines and conditions in Section I.
No pets allowed (some yachts allow exceptions — ask us).
Life jackets, emergency & first aid kits are included.
Bring your own alcohol and food freely.
All yachts include a sound system for your music.
Children are allowed on board and count as passengers.
Payment is due 10 days before your charter.
For bookings over $5,000, a wire transfer is required.
High Season Periods:
March 25–April 16 / June 1–July 31 / November 8–15 / December 15–January 20
Colombian Residents: 19% VAT will be added to your total.
